An ACN-Accredited Laboratory
Secure Network, a company of the BV TECH Group and a leading player in Italy and Europe for offensive cybersecurity, has been awarded Accreditation as a “Laboratorio Accreditato di Prova” (Accredited Testing Laboratory), in short LAP. This certification was issued by the National Assessment and Certification Center (Centro di Certificazione e Valutazione Nazionale – CVCN) of the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), pursuant to the President of the Council of Ministers’ Decree (DPCM) May 18, 2022 No. 92 92.
The recognition, which falls under the “Software and Network” scope, marks the culmination of a strategic journey launched in October 2023 with the opening of Secure Network‘s new offices in Via dei Valtorta in Milan.
As one of the few selected nationwide, the laboratory was established to meet the requirements introduced by the National Cyber Security Perimeter (PSNC) regulations. It directly supports the National Cybersecurity Agency in performing technology vetting for hardware and software devices, safeguarding national security as well as the State’s essential functions and services.
How It Is Structured
Designed as a true hi-tech bunker, the facility features advanced physical and IT security systems. It is built to operate under the highest standards of protection and confidentiality, in compliance with ACN’s methodologies as well as ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
The lab is staffed by specialized and certified Security Engineers, professionals trained over Secure Network‘s more than twenty years of experience, boasting cross-disciplinary expertise spanning software, biomedical devices, industrial systems, and emerging technologies.
